Jewelry Designer Network

Welcome to the Jewelry Designer Network ... JewelryNetwork.org

I have so many sites, 2 on myspace, 2 on facebook, one on flickr, a store on blujay, and one on here and I was just thinking how much simpler it would be to run 1 site. However, I need to get some prices and suggestions on who thinks what is the best and what is the best price. I don't make much money and I'm about to go back to school in the Fall so work and money will be a lot less then so... anyone have any suggestions?

Why not try to get a blog in wordpress or somewhere? put all your works there, and then put all links or relevant widgets into your blog, i believe it's much more easy to manage everything in 1 site, and all your visitors may still can find your links there. The most important thing is free!

Free is always the best price... It depends on what you are trying to achieve. Are you trying to develop a store front? Determine your ultimate purpose before selecting a system to use.

Certainly, you are welcome to take advantage of your "free" profile here on the Jewelery Network. In the profile section, you can list anything regarding your business. You can include your conatct information etc. If you are planning to sell product, you can list some of your product. However, this system is certainly not set up as a store front.

Although it is difficult managing several different accounts (facebook, flickr, twitter, etc.) it is important to be on each of them just to have a presence out there in cyber space. However, you definately need to select one central place to call home. Select your favorite (maybe this site...), and then from the others link back to your favorite profile. I agree with the comments from Heartdisk, that wordpress may be a good option for you. I personally do not use wordpress, but I have never heard anything negative about that system. If you are not going to develop your own website (which you may want to try), you should definately continue to use other sites. Again, pick a favorite and use that as your home base... Then use the others to link back to your primary profile. Since you say you do not have much money, it is definately a good idea to stick with the free sites..
