I love using memory wire. I use the little rings for wine glass charms, the bigger loops for bracelets and/or napkin rings and the large one for necklaces. It is a little difficult to use because its stainless steel but totally worth the extra effort. Make sure you buy the memory wire cutters because you'll have one heck of a time trying to cut the wire with your flush cutters/nippers... plus you'll ruin your cutters too.
On the back of the Rememberence Memory Wire bag, it gives instructions on the 2 ways you can close your pieces.
1. You take a round nose pliers and make a loop at each end. Which is cute because you can add danglys and whatnot
OR
2. You can use GS-Hypo Cement and glue end caps to each end. I've tried the end caps and I'm not sure but I don't think I let them dry long enough and they fall off. lol
I preffer to do the loops.
I also tell my customers that not only will the bracelet [or whatever] will form to your wrist to become yours and only yours. But also, I like to tell the seniors and/or people that have difficulty using clasps, that these dont require clasps and wont fall off until you want it to come off. Good marketing statement.
I even made a watch with memory wire and to this day, when I see the lady that bought it from me, I ask her ''Do you need me to put a clasp on your watch yet?'' And she always says no.
Hope this helps someone
