OK, as many of you know I am the only member of this website that is not directly involved in designing, manufacturing, or selling jewelry. I am not delicate enough. If I had a work bench, it would possibly look like this...
I guess that this is why I am not qualified to be a jewelry designer.
Thanks for re-posting! My cat is usually sleeping in his bed near my work area, but most times I have more than one project spread out on my work bench and if I don't cover the area completely while I'm not at it, he's right there trying to get hold of anything small that he can pull off with his paws! My biggest worry is that he'll get a bead that's big enough for him to choke on-I swear he's just like a little kid! btw-I wish I had as much space as you do to spread things out!
I think I finally have this in the right place... Well here it is, My Wax Carving Bench. I like to keep things very neat and organized as this reflects in my work.
My work station (Really, I work here. I do online transcription so when I'm not typing a file I'm working on a design idea or photos. I love my travel bag though. The red bookbag on wheels with the luggage handle. Makes it very easy to take some work with me WHERE EVER I go.) You can put your mouse over the pics and see the caption info for it. Also you can speed up or slow down the slide by clicking the plus sign or minus sign.
Looks like you have a trusty companion to share space with as well. I have two lab puppies (15 months old) the male would be just like your dog - asleep on the floor --- but the female would be in my face all the time if I let them in my workspace. Thank you for sharing. I am still working on my space, but will send pics soon. Right now, even though I have a "designated room" my stuff is all over the house because my husband cannot stand for me not to be where he is when he is home. I love him, but beading sitting on the sofa is annoying......just need to get things done before he gets home. Yea, right!
