Actually, Heather, I did just find a nice little quick tutorial (of sorts) from a lady...sorry, I don't remember her name, but I am uploading the file...she put it online to share with the world, so I am sure she wouldn't mind if I share it with you…
Heather,
Yes you can roll leaves in your rolling mill...I am doing a pin swap and a charm swap this summer, so this past weekend I was rolling lots of leaf impressions for my pins...I've already made eight from ginko leaves and two from these dried…
This group is for anyone who is interested in forming metals into interesting shapes. The shapes are generally created by using hand tools and traditional jewelry techniques.

I have always embraced being different—in my work, in my life and in my art. Knowing that I am creating something that no one else will have gives me a sense of immense satisfaction.
Expressing my personality through my art is extremely rewarding, and teaching these skills to others is even more so. Guiding students to be uniquely themselves in a world of mass-production is an awesome experience.
I love to incorporate materials such as enamel, resin, dichroic glass, genuine gemstones, and unique beads and findings into my pieces of art. I also love the look of the southwest, and I am particularly drawn to the natural elements in my art. Whether I am using seashells or rocks, feathers or fur, nature plays an important role in my creations.
My fascination with polymer clay and then the PMC clay medium led me to become a Certified PMC instructor and to offer both group and private classes in Fayetteville and the surrounding area. These classes are fun and informative, with a special focus on individuality. Currently, I teach PMC, sterling silver wire wrapping, polymer clay jewelry, chainmaille and basic beading. These classes teach the techniques of the art – the students learn to use the techniques to create their own one-of-a-kind (and often amazing) works of art. Could life get any better than that?
Only part time...I took a PMC Certification course about a year ago and take Metal Fabrication classes part time on an ongoing basis. Everything else is self taught so far.
Do you have a favorite jewelry designer (other then yourself...)
Hadar Jacobson...her work with the metal clays is so inspirational to me. I cannot get enough of her work, and I can spot it right away now. I am striving to be that good someday!
